Emergency Response Planning

Cotter assists companies in developing emergency response plans in order to meet business risk management objectives and in some cases to meet regulatory requirements. In 2003, the Canadian government promulgated the Environmental Emergency Regulations under the Canadian Environmental Protection Act, which requires affected facilities to develop and implement emergency response plans.

Cotter has developed emergency response plans for companies in the manufacturing and oil & gas industry, consistent with the aforementioned Environmental Emergency Regulations as well as the Canadian standard CAN/CSA-Z731 Emergency Planning for Industry.
